Who are we looking for?
Just so you know what you're getting yourself into.. ;)
Winters Heart is a guild with a long history, existing since June 2005 continuously as a raiding guild on Silvermoon EU. Our focus is on the high-end content Blizzard throws at us in 25 raid version. While we officially only raid 3 mandatory days a week (Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday), we try and play to the utmost of our capacities on those days. If you value personal gain over the success of the guild, if you think of us as a place where you can learn your class or if you see us as a bus stop to the next guild, then Winters Heart is not the guild for you.
If, however, you think of yourself as a team player who knows his class and has an interest in all of the game's mechanics, who comes to raids prepared with both consumables and knowledge of boss tactics, then by all means continue reading.

Please, if you need a dictionary to understand this website, don't apply. We might be a raiding guild but we do not stop being a group of social beings; we expect you to be as well. This therefore requires a good understanding of the english language: listening comprehension and preferably spoken as well. That doesn't mean you have to start telling tales about how you and aunt Sally went to buy socks last thursday while we're in phase 3 at Sindragosa, but it's much more enjoyable for both you and us if we can talk, laugh and cry in the same language.
Oh, behave!
As easy going as we might be outside of raids, we need you to maintain a certain level of focus during bossfights. On those moments, silence is golden.
You should also be very careful with your behaviour when bearing our guild name - we have a good reputation on the server and we won't tolerate rudeness or bad behaviour towards other people, in and out of the guild!
What are we looking for?
Out-of-game requirements:
• You apply to us, not several guilds at the same time.
• Be here monday, wednesday, thursday & sunday from 19.30-23.30 gametime.
• A stable connection. DCing 5 times a night isn't doing anyone favours.
• Install Ventrilo 3.0. Microphone highly recommended.
• Install Omen, a threat meter addon. This goes for all classes.
• Install oRA2, a raid management add-on
• Be active on our forums. Read up on announcements/changes.
• Don't whine much, please.
• Be ready for both positive and negative criticism. We are no ogres, but if you cannot take advice and recommendations, or are too emotionally unstable to understand this is a game, you are not Winters Heart material. No drama = happy raiders.
• Enjoy this game and your class. Read up on in-depth game/class mechanics and share the knowledge if you feel it's worth sharing. Motivate yourself and others through the good and the bad days. 
In-game requirements:
• You are a level 80 char with thorough understanding of what your class and spec are about. This will show through your chosen gems, enchants and talents.
• You have the gear to participate in our current content.
• You are willing to respec when we ask you to.
• You are mature, have a positive attitude and are willing to help others.
• You have no troubles affording your raid consumables, including the best possible gems and enchants, dual-/respeccs and repair bills.
These people will get a /gkick for free:
• People who don't know what friendship is.
• Immature, impatient and humourless people.
• Selfish people who only care about loot.
• People who apply for one role who then expect to switch to another role, once admitted; (e.g. applying to be a resto shaman and asking to switch to elemental)
• People who plan on going AFK all the time for various reasons.
• People who cannot withstand negative criticism.
• People who can not meet our raid requirements, including our raiding schedule.
• People who cause drama for no reason.
